I have one Question to ask the Obama Supporters

People wanted a change when they voted Obama in as president, but I just wonder how many wished now they would have just stayed home November 4, 2008.

I am guessing there are a "few" of them. I would probably be safe in saying that the kind of "change" Obama has brought is probably not what his supporters were looking for.

How could anyone be "happy" with what he is doing to this country? One of these days hopefully soon he will realize that he keeps making the mistakes - and stop blaming others. It is almost as if he doesn't think before acting. I think that is a childhood disease maybe, ADHD?

That would kind of explain why he doesn't listen to 'We The People' because of the ADHD - he is unable to comprehend. A child with ADHD will act out without thinking, and will also say things without first thinking.

I have to believe this is why Obama has a "dream" about providing 80% of all people in the US access to high-speed rail. He clearly does not have any rational thinking in him. Here is just one example: "Washington States receives high-speed rail money?"

In this article the writer says, "Announced in January 2010, the money will underwrite track major and minor improvements in Amtrak's Pacific Northwest corridor and allow for the launch of two new daily round-trips between Seattle and Portland." But the writer neglects to add "a 10 minute reduction in travel time" is about all they will get for the $590 million. A whole 10 minutes now that is something, isn't it. Unemployment is 10% or more in Washington State too, so I'm sure there will be lots of passengers.

Obama's dream of HSR lay's on the back of the failed governments railroad - Amtrak? This is just one of many waste the government loses money on.

One Obama's most successful political ploys is to promise people things without having the money to pay for them. Then, 'We The People' get blamed when we want to cut back on the things that have been promised. 'We The People' catch the blame for lacking the compassion of those who wrote the checks without enough money in the bank to cover them.

In the Northeast Corridor, with about 45 million people, Amtrak’s daily ridership is 28,500. If its trains shut down tomorrow, no one except the affected passengers would even notice. Obama calls high-speed rail essential “infrastructure” when it’s actually old-fashioned “pork barrel.”

The interesting question is why it retains its intellectual respectability. The answer, it seems, is willful ignorance. People prefer fashionable make-believe to distasteful realities. They imagine public benefits that don’t exist and ignore costs that do.

So the question is - Still like the “change?”
